Dr Susmita Mukherjee

Dr Susmita (Susie) Mukherjee is a Consultant Dermatologist at the Harley Street Clinic. She is also the Lead Consultant Dermatologist at her NHS base, Dorking Healthcare. She has also held substantive consultant posts in Glasgow and Durham. She was instrumental in setting up a combined clinic with gastroenterology and respiratory colleagues whilst at Durham for children with severe eczema asthma and food allergies.

Dr Susie Mukherjee qualified from Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School in 1999. She was awarded the Jean Shanks Bursary in Pathology for academic excellence and gained a BSc Honours in Experimental Pathology with a dissertation on novel immunisation strategies for HIV.

She gained her membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2002 and completed her dermatology specialist training in Glasgow in 2010. She also undertook published research in Gadodiamide and nephrogenic fibrosing sclerosis which she has presented at both National and International meetings. She continues to teach and supervise her junior colleagues and is an appraiser of GP colleagues with extended roles.
