Our People.
We have a team of highly qualified and experienced skin specialists who can help you with all kinds of conditions. Since the HSDC specialises in dermatology, we have a selection of experts who can treat all kinds of skin conditions in both adults and children.
The Harley Street Dermatology Clinic was founded by consultant dermatologist Dr Adam Friedmann. He has more than ten years of experience in dermatology and has a particular interest in the treatment of skin cancer. He is joined at the clinic by many talented skin specialists. You will find profiles of each of our consultant dermatologists on the Our Team page of our website. We understand how important it is to feel comfortable with your doctor and to be confident that they can provide the best quality care. You will find that the HSDC team includes experts in all kinds of skin conditions, from acne to melanoma.
We also have a clinical psychologist on the team to provide extra support where it is needed. Dr Sarah Coles has experience working with a wide range of therapies including talk therapy, CBT, systemic psychotherapy and narrative approaches. Skin conditions can have a big impact on your mental wellbeing. Your emotional state can affect your skin too, so talking to a therapist can make a big difference to your mental and physical health.
Our doctors are supported by a great team of administrative and nursing staff. You can find out more about the people who you’ll meet at the Harley Street Dermatology Clinic by looking at the Our Team section on the website. Everyone who cares for you will be courteous, helpful and respectful at all times. We work hard as a team to ensure that you have the best possible experience when you see a skin specialist.
Skin Specialists.
The Harley Street Dermatology Clinic specialises in conditions affecting the skin, hair and nails. When you visit us, you will be treated by a consultant dermatologist or a nurse who specialises in dermatology.
Dermatologists or skin specialists are doctors who have had extra training in diagnosing and treating skin, hair and nail conditions. Dermatologists can perform specialist tests and treatments to help with your symptoms, including minor surgical procedures to remove moles or growths. Your dermatologist will also be familiar with skin conditions that your GP has rarely seen. When you visit a skin specialist, you will get the best possible treatment from an expert with lots of experience.
You can see a dermatologist about any problems with your skin, hair or nails. You might be dealing with irritating or painful symptoms such as itchiness. You could have an unexplained rash or an unusual mole or growth that you want to get checked. You might also be referred to a dermatologist by your GP if they want you to get specialist care. Some of the most common conditions treated by dermatologists include eczema, acne, psoriasis and skin cancer. However, we can help with all kinds of skin, hair and nail problems, ranging from hair loss to melanoma.
If you need to see a skin specialist for any reason, then you can easily make an appointment at the Harley Street Dermatology Clinic in London. We are here to help with all kinds of skin, hair and nail conditions.
