Dr Mariam Balogun is a UK trained London based dermatologist with 15 years experience.
Her passion is to manage hair loss and skin disorders and can offer both medical and adjunctive treatments. Dr Balogun gained her medical degree from St. Bartholomew and London School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she graduated with a distinction in clinical science and honours in molecular therapeutics BMEDSCI. She has received numerous national and international accolades, including from the European Society of Dermatological Research.
Dr Balogun is well versed in skin surgery with over a thousand surgical hours worth of experience and continues to partake in research into hair loss in conjunction with the Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology in Nottingham. She has carried out further training at the Leading National Centres of hair loss and is a fellow of the world-renowned Donovan hair academy based in whistler Canada. She is widely published and sits on the Board of the Journal of Sustainable Dermatology and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians.
Dr Balogun’s warm and empathic approach using holistic cutting-edge evidence based methods in the management of hair loss disorders has been at the heart of her success. She also loves seeing general dermatology cases such as acne, mole checks, melasma, eczema, psoriasis, rashes any many more.
